That's the Beauty of it.

I came across an excellent article the other day and thought it was worthy of sharing.

"Beauty isn't the same thing as glamour or style. Glamour is illusion. Style is meditated. I like to think that beauty is the sweetest, kindest sister of the three. It's lovable. It's pure. "Beauty is truth, truth beauty." That's what the poet Keats famously wrote, but who knows what that means?

Beauty may be maddeningly difficult to define, but one thing is true: We all know it when we see it.

Although the fashion world might suggest otherwise at times, beauty isn't strictly dictated by anyone. No one gets the final say except ourselves. Even if one doesn't realize it in their youth, a freer definition of beauty generally comes through age. Besides, it isn't youth itself that is beautiful. It's the positive, youthful energy that one can sustain over a lifetime that contributes to beauty, such as curiousity, strength and idealism."
