Orders
All jewelry is handmade to order. I am always excited to customize jewelry upon request so please contact me with your ideas. Delivery takes up to 2 weeks from order placement.
Placing an Order
When you are ready to place your order, please complete the order form. At the first step you can securely enter your address and email details. At the second step please choose your shipping option for your order (Canada Post- regular mail, or Xpress Post 3-5 days). Finally you can proceed to choose how you would like to pay for your order.
Requesting Changes
As explained in some of the listings for my jewelry, you can request some alterations. If the alterations are minor, such as changes of color or length or size, please leave a note for me when you checkout, or email me with the details. If the alterations are more complex or are not mentioned in the listing, it's best to contact me to discuss prior to placing your order.
Payment
Payment is accepted via PayPal, however, you can opt to pay using your credit card via PayPal rather than needing to have an account. Payments made via PayPal are secure and at no time will your credit card details be disclosed. Note that if you pay via a PayPal account which has insufficient funds, then an echeque will be generated. These generally take several days to clear and as per PayPal's instructions, I will be unable to ship your order until the funds have cleared into my account.

If you are in Canada, I also accept payment by direct deposit in Canadian dollars into my bank account. If you would prefer to pay this way, please email me prior to ordering for bank account details and for the final total. Gold Vermeil? Gold Filled?
Gold Plated? Huh?
Gold plated: A base metal such as steel or brass is dipped into a bath of electroplating solution, with a lump of solid gold. When an electric current is applied, a thin layer of gold is deposited on the metal. Since the plating is quite thin, the plate (and hence the color) on findings can wear off.
Sterling Silver: is a mixture of pure silver and some other metal, usually copper. The resulting alloy gives silver strength. The standard is at least 92.5% silver. Hence the .925 stamp you see on some sterling silver items.
Vermeil: is sterling silver that has been gold plated with 22K-24K gold. This is a good combination for those with allergies to normal plated jewelry items. The difference between vermeil and gold filled is in the thickness of the gold and the base metal used. In vermeil the base is sterling silver.
Gold filled: These jewelry items are not actually filled with gold. They are made of a base metal ( usually brass or copper) covered by sheets of gold in a mechanical bonding process. Effectively a thick coat of gold: the gold content is 5% of the total weight. It is usually made with 14K gold and should last as long as solid 14K gold jewelry.
